Since 1937, Ray-Ban has been making sunglasses with very
high quality lenses for maximum visual comfort - the Ray-Ban Polarized
range. The best known are the G15 lenses, easily recognised by their green colour.
Nowadays, Ray-Ban markets a wide range of polarized lenses,
recognisable by the letter "P" engraved on the lens, offering
perfect vision in all circumstances, blocking 99.9% of the
reflection caused by the rays of the sun. Ray-Ban Polarized P3Plus
and Ray-Ban Polarized P3, with crystal and plastic frames respectively,
have lenses that have been specially treated, in addition to polarization:
ultraviolet filter, anti-reflection coating and water droplet protection
thanks to the hydro-oleophobic coating. Ray-Ban P3Plus lenses are also
treated to improve contrast and colour definition.
